Community
Community benefit is woven into our DNA at MPMH. We actively support several charities local to our operational headquarters and deliver community benefit initiatives as part of our project planning with 100% of our major projects.
Charities
Through NHS National Services Scotland we have worked with
Scotland’s Bravest.
Scotland’s Bravest are Armed Forces Veterans with injuries or disabilities who are adjusting to life outside of the military.
They manufacture signs, panels, and digital prints at Erskine Hospital. MPMH have assisted by providing some Health & Safety Training through our External Health & Safety Consultant to assist their needs. They have also provided signage for MPMH at various NHS projects and most recently at the Macmillan cancer ward in Oban and the Inverclyde Royal Hospital External signs.
This is a local company, and any QEUH signage would be procured through them.
We also supported the NHS GGC Children’s Hospital Charity at Christmas, where we acknowledged young patients, their families and the NHS Heroes who care for them by donating £1500.00 to the charity.
As part of the upgrade works at NHS Lothian Newtongrange Health Centre we donated new planters for the Health Centre, in conjunction with Midlothian Council to enhance the surrounding area.
