Parks Group, Garage Extension and Showroom Refurbishment
MPMH as Principal Contractor delivered the extension and refurbishment of the existing car showroom, whilst the showroom continued to operate on a daily basis throughout the project. The project was carried out with Contractor Design Portion to design and install the Mechanical, Electrical Installation and Build Contract. To enable the Design part of the Contract to be met, MPMH employed Mechanical & Electrical Contractors that had experience and ability to design the Mechanical & Electrical works to meet the client requirements and ensure the building control measures were adhered to and achieved.

Key dates were set to enable the break through between the new building and existing where we setup hoardings to enable handover of the new showroom. This enabled Phase 2 works which consisted
of one half of the existing showroom. These works were stripping out of the existing flooring, mechanical and electrical installation, refurbishment of the client and customer toilets. MPMH installed new curtain walling to the existing side elevations and installation of a new air condition system and
lighting with new suspended ceilings tiling to the floor.
Phase 3 consisted of relocating of the hoardings and handover of phase 2 and refurbishing the remaining half of the existing showroom to match phase 2. The project was challenging due to the live environment of the showroom that operated 7 days per week. The show room also had 4 different car manufacturers located within the showroom and had to incorporate different manufacturers finishes to each phase. MPMH worked closely with the client and consultants to incorporate the late client changes by working weekends and late nights to accommodate these late changes to ensure the project was delivered on time.
